Claire and Kev had a lovely wedding ceremony at Upminster Methodist Church. Claire’s Dad walked her down the aisle to the traditional wedding march, and as a suggestion from the minister Claire’s dad, the best man and bridesmaids remained standing at the front of the church for the duration of the service.
The wedding ceremony took place at 2pm and shortly afterwards the wedding party were all escorted as a group to Claire’s parent’s house where a stunning marquee had been put up in the garden for the party celebrations. Having been obsessed with the film ‘Father of the Bride’ since childhood, Claire thought it was perfect to hold her wedding reception in a marquee of the home she grew up in through out her youth. This meant that Claire and Kevin weren’t restricted in the number of people they could invite, and knew also that it would be a safe environment for the children that they knew they would be inviting to the day.
