Christine and her father were picked up from the family home by a vintage car and taken to the church. At 1pm the church organist played Canon in D and Christine walked down the aisle with her father to meet a nervous Chris. During the ceremony there were 2 readings and 2 religious hymns before Chris and Christine were pronounced Husband and Wife.
The newlywed couple walked back up the aisle and were taken to their wedding reception in the same vintage car that had taken Christine and her father to the church an hour earlier. The couple didn’t want their guests to have to walk or take their own transport to the reception venue so they hired a big red London Route Master bus which worked perfectly.
