Seeing as her wedding was going to take place in Canada, Christina thought it best to buy her dress at home, rather than here in the UK. She went back to see her family in February 2011 and had a good idea in her head of what she thought she’d like to wear as she walked down the aisle. The bride-to-be wanted something current, along with a gown that would always maintain its timeless quality in years to come.
After trying on several beauties, followed by a princess dress which wouldn’t have been appropriate, the owner of the bridalwear shop pulled out a dress that Christina, her mother, maid of honour and cousin all liked the look of. Christina tried the dress on and it made her feel instantly amazing. The perfect gown was satin, with beading on the neckline and Christina ordered it in diamond white as opposed to ivory.
Christina teamed her wedding dress up with a beautiful mantilla style veil and a pair of Benjamin Adams wedding shoes which were a mission to find, but turned out to be the most amazing wedding shoes ever! The bride completed her look with MAC cosmetics and had her hair styled by the hair dresser that she’d had since childhood.
