After the church wedding cermeony the newlywed couple and their wedding party were taken to Hey Green in Marsden - a 15th century manor house with beautiful gardens and a lake; an ideal venue for gorgeous wedding photography.
Peter designed and made the wedding cake himself! The incredible ivory creation had four tiers, one traditional fruit one, and all the rest made of sponge.
He decorated the cake with orange icing flowers designed to match the bridal bouquet, and created a comical cake topper of himself falling off the cake as Cheryl held on to him using a ball and chain!
The creative and comical cake was appreciated by all, and in keeping with the homemade delicious touches the couple gave their guests cake pops as favours, created by Cheryl’s bridesmaid Lynne. Lynne’s company, From Mum’s Kitchen, made navy and ivory cake pops decorated with orange gerberas.
