Cheryl and Peter became Mr and Mrs on a sunny day in late spring. The couple, who were engaged for a year and a month before tying the knot, got married in a gorgeous country church in an idyllic Saddleworth village.
The couple met when Peter was training to become an ambulance technician, and had a training day on the ambulance that paramedic Cheryl worked on.
Peter proposed to Cheryl on his 30th birthday, after they’d been together for two and half years. He was giving a speech to thank his guests for attending, and at the end of it, he got down on one knee and asked Cheryl to marry him.
She gladly accepted, and the couple now have some hilarious engagement photos, due to the ‘bad taste’ theme at Peter’s party!
Peter planned everything out, and narrowed down the choice of engagement ring to just two ‘finalists’. He then enlisted his brother to help him make the final decision, and Cheryl was delighted with the boys’ efforts!
