Having chosen Hook House in Hampshire as a wedding venue, Charmaine had somewhat of an idea of how she wanted to look as she walked down the aisle. She started browsing for wedding dresses online and in magazines, but then met local dress shop owner Jayne Ann at a wedding fair. Charmaine liked Jayne’s friendly approach and decided to make an appointment to visit her at the Basingstoke studio.
The bride-to-be tried on ten dresses and then decided to take her mother back to view the shortlist. She tried on options one and two, but it was shortlist option three that really made Charmaine realise that she’d found ‘the one’. The dress, designed by Phoenix Gowns, was strapless and covered in diamantes on the bodice, along with having a lace up back and lace trimming along the bottom of the gown.
Charmaine teamed her wedding dress up with a pair of shoes from the bridal range at Next and her mother bought a pretty tiara and matching wedding jewellery to complete her daughter’s bridal look.
