The perfect, three tiered wedding cake was created by Sue Polhill Cakes. It was filled with chocolate sponge and was covered in white icing. In order to match the pink, black and ivory theme, it was trimmed with black lace and topped with fresh pink peonies. Charlie and Dan also ordered a cake topper made in their likeness, including their two dogs, to stand alongside the cake.
After their fabulous wedding, where they shared their first dance to ‘I’m Yours’ by The Script, the newlywed couple jetted off to Mexico to spend a week relaxing on the beach, before flying to Paris for a romantic four day city break.
Charlie said she would change nothing about her perfect day, and advises other couples to enjoy the planning process rather than stress about it as it will all be wonderful on the day!
