Both the wedding reception and the ceremony took place at Kingscote Barn. The bride was walked down the aisle by her proud and very teary-eyed father as ‘The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face’ played.
The bride and three bridesmaids carried bouquets of white spring flowers, wrapped in hessian trimmed with lace for a rustic look. Florist Louise Clements created the bouquets.
Catrin and David wanted an emphasis on the fact that there was Welsh and English heritage coming together on the day, so Catrin’s friend Siwan gave a reading in Welsh, followed by David’s sister, who did the same reading in English.
The bride and groom exchanged rings bought from Fraser Hart, and were pronounced husband and wife in front of their delighted guests.
