Catrin and her mother make the wedding cakes together! They created cupcakes in four different flavours such as chocolate, vanilla, carrot and walnut, and lemon and poppy seed. These were served as dessert following the wedding breakfast.
There was also a small cutting cake for David and Catrin to cut into. The cakes were beautifully displayed on rustic log pieces, and the main cake was topped with a bride and groom topper which belonged to Catrin’s mum.
Following their relaxed, rustic wedding, Catrin and David are yet to go on honeymoon, but have planned the trip of a lifetime to South America for later on in the year.
They will spend four weeks making the most of once in a lifetime opportunities such as exploring the Inca trail, camping under the stars and taking in the sights in Rio!
