When it came to their wedding cake Catherine and John decided to go for a single tier sponge cake with a nutella filling. The cake was covered in white icing, had an organza ribbon tied around the outside and was topped off with 3 colourful gerberas. The newlyweds were hoping to cut the cake and serve it for dessert, but with all of the excitement they forgot all about the cake and ended up taking it back to their hotel room. After 5 days the cake still hadn’t been eaten and unfortunately the hot weather had made it inedible.
John and Catherine were thrilled with every aspect of their wedding day, from the suppliers they used, to the lasting memories that they will treasure forever. Even though they blew their wedding budget they don’t regret a single thing about their amazing wedding day.
