Catherine wanted lots of red roses and had to pay a premium for them as they increase in price during Valentines! She went for red Grand Prix roses as they are very large and have gorgeous velvety petals. Their deep red colour was exactly what Catherine wanted to go with the colour theme. Her bouquet was made up of a tightly hand tied bunch of roses surrounded by fine Asparagus fern.
The colours of the wedding flowers matched the bridesmaids dresses beautifully. Catherine had 3 bridesmaids in total. Her two daughters wore dresses from the Jasmine Bridal range found at Wedding Belles in Shirley. Her third bridesmaid wore a dress bought at John Lewis and Catherine was very specific about the jewellery that she wanted her bridesmaids to wear. Each bridesmaid wore stunning headwear and different jewellery and it was one of the two page boys that carried a silk pillow with the rings as everyone walked up the aisle.
