Catherine & Jamie’s Real Wedding

Family and friends travelled far and wide to join Catherine and Jamie on their special day whilst hot toddies, ceilidh and roaring fires kept the merriment well above average seasonal temperatures!  Snow tipped mountains and Loch Lomond was the beautiful backdrop for this winter wonderland wedding which happened exactly 364 days after Jamie had propped in the freezing cold Scottish Highlands.

Wedding Shoes

Catherine wore a stunning pair of Tahitian drop pearl earrings which Jamie had bought for her as a wedding present. She hung a handmade pearl charm with a single blue gem in it from her bouquet as her something blue and also tucked her late Grandpa’s prized RAF wings in her garter for luck.  Catherine also wore an ivory Ostrich feather shoulder wrap to keep the Scottish cold at bay.

Seeing as the wedding was going to be in Scotland Catherine had to be prepared for every type of weather eventuality.  She bought several pairs of wellington boots for herself and her bridesmaids just in case the heavens decided to open, and she also bought several big wedding umbrellas that were all on stand by.  Luckily the weather was perfect and neither the wellies or the umbrellas needed to be used. Instead Catherine got to wear her beautiful hand made wedding shoes which she had actually purchased from Ebay.
