Caroline didn’t know what kind of wedding dress she wanted – only that she didn’t want a strapless wedding dress! That is, until she tried one on. Ten dresses later and the bride had found the perfect gown, by Romantica, in Impressions boutique, Hitchin.
The dress was quite simple, with flattering but subtle detail across the bodice. Caroline decided to dress up her gown with funky shoes, choosing a bright turquoise pair for the day, before slipping into sparkly silver slingbacks for the evening party. She also wore a bracelet which her dad had given to her mum on her wedding day, and pinned her grandmother’s lucky sixpence and great-grandmother’s brooch to the underneath of her dress.
Caroline had four bridesmaids, including her three best friends from university, and her sister as maid of honour. The girls wore strapless turquoise dresses from Coast, which matched the wedding colour scheme.
