Rick and Caroline decided to keep the décor simple at their wedding. They used potted calla lilies as the centrepieces on the tables, and added hurricane lamps and wicker hearts for a pretty touch. As it was a nice day, the guests spent most of the day outside!
Each of the tables were named after different places in New York the couple had visited. They tried to keep them discreet so the guests would have to guess the reason behind the name.
The welcome drinks consisted of Buck’s Fizz or a Trinidadian rum punch, which went down very well. A barbecue wedding breakfast was served, and Caroline’s aunt, who’d flown in from Trinidad, brought bottles of hot sauce for every table.
