Caroline & Neil’s Real Wedding

Caroline and Neil had been together for four years before they got engaged. They became husband and wife in a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony, at The Twelve Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Brookmans Park, followed by a reception at Moor Park Mansion which featured traditional Greek dancing.

Home Made Wedding Cake

Neil and Caroline’s amazing five tier white wedding cake was made by the bride’s mum! Caroline’s talented mum made the cake out of traditional fruit cake and covered it in white icing and lots of pretty white sugar flowers. The cake was served to guests alongside the evening buffet.

The couple hired a Greek DJ to entertain at their wedding reception, and he played a mix of music. There was lots of traditional Greek dancing and the newlyweds even partook in a traditional Greek money dance, where guests pin money onto the newly married couple.

Following their Greek wedding, Caroline and Neil jetted off to a luxury five star hotel and spa in Morocco for four days. They opted for a shorter honeymoon as they didn’t want to be away from their young son for too long. Neil chose the location, and they both enjoyed a luxurious time relaxing together, enjoying their first few precious days as husband and wife.
