Caroline and Neil had been together for four years before they got engaged. They became husband and wife in a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony, at The Twelve Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Brookmans Park, followed by a reception at Moor Park Mansion which featured traditional Greek dancing.
Mr and Mrs
Neil and Caroline first set eyes on each other on a night out six years ago. They began dating, and after four years together, Neil proposed on Christmas Day 2011. Traditional Neil had got permission from Caroline’s dad and waited for them to be surrounded by all her family, including their son Lucas, before announcing he had one more gift to give.
He got down on one knee and presented Caroline with a perfect engagement ring, which he’d chosen all by himself. She was totally stunned but happily accepted, and her dad was on hand to serve the champagne!
The next 13 months were spent organising a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding for 158 guests with an aubergine colour scheme.
