Douglas and Caroline cut into a simple, two tiered wedding cake that was covered in ivory icing and decorated with purple flowers.
The cake, which was made by Lynda’s Celebration Cakes, had a lemon flavoured tier and a vanilla flavoured tier. The venue cut the cake up and placed it into cake boxes so the guests could take a delicious treat home with them.
Within a week of getting married, Douglas had to head back to work, so the couple’s honeymoon was brief, but still beautiful. The groom booked a five star stay in Windemere in the Lake District as a surprise for his new wife.
They had a very relaxing break, enjoying some quality time together as husband and wife before returning to real life!
