Daniel and Caroline became husband and wife in a traditional church wedding at St Cross, Winchester. The bride arrived with her father in a vintage Rolls Royce, ready for the late ceremony at 3.30pm. The father of the bride had the role of arranging the transport, and Caroline really valued that precious time with her dad during the journey to the church.
Caroline walked down the aisle with her father to the sound of ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring’ sang by a choir, accompanied by an organist. The wedding party sang hymns, and the bride’s sister read out a poem called ‘The Key to Love’, and Caroline’s grandfather read Corinthians 13.
Following the ceremony, the guests congregated for drinks in the Master’s Garden at the church.
