Two friends of Carley’s mum made the wedding cake which had 2 tier’s filled with butter cream sponge and jam, and the third tier was fruit. The cake topper was Carley and David’s initials, C & D, and was created from Swarovski crystals. The wedding cake was served as dessert, and seeing as it was Easter Sunday there were also three glass vases filled with mini chocolate eggs & sweets for everyone to enjoy.
An exploding balloon filled with confetti and small balloons was popped during Carley and David’s first dance to Shania Twain’s ‘You’re Still The One’. The couple spent a few days in the Lake District for their honeymoon which was well deserved because it only took Carley and David 12 weeks to plan their wedding day!
