Carla had once seen her dream cake, but when it came to picking her wedding cake, she was unable to find anything like it. Her venue, Torre Paulina, made the cake as part of the package, so she explained what she wanted and left them to it.
The two tier cake turned out to be exactly as Carla had imagined it, and she loved the end result. One tier was traditional Maltese almond cake, whilst the other was a chocolate sponge.
After all of the speeches and cutting the cake, the party started. The venue requested that the music be turned down by 11pm, so they employed a ‘silent disco’. Everyone, from the young children to Carla’s 92 year old grandfather continued partying til 1.30am with their headphones on!
After their fabulous, family focused wedding, the happy couple spent five relaxing nights at the Atlantis The Palm in Dubai.
