There were two cakes at Bekki and Daryl’s wedding; one classic wedding cake and a birthday cake for the groom as it was his 50th birthday.
The wedding cake was made by Bonne Bouche Cakes & Bakes and consisted of three different flavoured tiers, including a chocolate layer and a lemon one. The top tier was a specially made egg free madeira cake, as Bekki’s youngest son is allergic to eggs.
The cake was decorated with burgundy ribbon and Celtic knots. A golf themed birthday cake made by a friend was also unveiled at the reception.
After the wedding Daryl and Bekki didn’t go on honeymoon, but instead stayed a night in their wedding reception venue, which was paid for as a gift by some good friends. The bride and groom were overwhelmed by the love, help and support of their family and friends in the run up to their wedding – it helped to make the whole thing possible!
