James and Becki met online, and from the moment they first set eyes on each other, they knew it was something special. After getting engaged in New York, they married in a vintage themed wedding with a lavender colour scheme.
Mr and Mrs
Becki and James found each other through online dating and were together for four years before getting engaged.
They went on the holiday of a lifetime together, touring America for three weeks, and as Becki had been circling rings she liked in jewellery catalogues for a while, she felt a proposal could be imminent.
She was convinced he’d get down on one knee at the Grand Canyon, but a sulky teenager killed the mood. In the end James proposed to Becki in the ‘Treehouse for Dreaming’ in Central Park, on her birthday. He got down on one knee and said, “So, are you going to marry me or what?”
