Anna and Jon visited three wedding venues before taking a look at Horsley Park Towers in Surrey. Horsley Park Towers was built in the 19th century and is surrounded by water. The venue boasts several private nooks and crannies that made for perfect photo opportunities and part of the venue looked like a castle tower; the ideal venue for a fairytale wedding.
After the church wedding ceremony, Anna and Jon’s 95 guests headed over to the venue where they were treated to a delicious 3 course set menu which featured a prawn and crayfish cocktail starter, followed by a roast chicken for the main course and Eton Mess for dessert. Everyone commented on how great the food was and the evening reception was led by an incredible and highly recommended toastmaster, Steve Eggleton.
The reception room was decorated with a wonderful teal and purple colour scheme, to match the bridesmaids, grooms attire and bridal bouquet. For wedding favours, Anna sourced white treasure chest boxes online and filled them with Guylian Seashell chocolates, in keeping with the beach/travel theme which ran through out the day.
