Adam and Anna’s wedding cake was made by the bride’s younger sister, Amie. Anna specified that they’d like a traditional style three tiered wedding cake, but Amie took care of the rest as a surprise. The couple didn’t see their wedding cake until they walked into the reception room, and they were amazed by it.
It was made from a light genoise sponge, with a delicious blueberry filling, and it was covered in soft white icing and wrapped in a navy bow secured with a sparkling brooch. The cake was topped with handmade ivory roses, dusted with glitter, which Anna and Adam kept as a keepsake. It was cut up and served to guests with the evening buffet of sausage and bacon sandwiches.
As Adam and Anna are both teachers, they’re waiting until the summer break for their honeymoon to Sri Lanka. After their wedding, they spent a couple of nights relaxing at the luxurious Montpellier Chapter Hotel.
