Andrea had an idea in her head of her perfect dress – she was imagining something tight and figure hugging on the top, with a full skirt and train, and some sort of shoulder detail. She saw the dress she ended up wearing on the first shop she went into, but originally dismissed it as it was strapless. After visiting another 10 shops, and trying on at least five dresses in each, she went back to the first one. The bride realised she had been describing that one dress over and over again, so she bought it and had it customised with a detachable shoulder strap.
This meant she was able to alter her look after the church ceremony, ready for the evening party, and she could be sure that her lovely Maggie Sottero gown was different to the standard design.
Andrea bought her beautiful wedding dress from Satin and Lace in Newbury.
