The transport that took Amanda to her wedding ceremony was so special to her. They travelled in a carriage pulled by two heavy horses from Banham Zoo. The horses’ tails and manes were festively decorated and upon arriving at the wedding the bride was presented with a horse shoe from one of the horses, and a bottle of personalised champagne!
Amanda and Jason married at their local church. They knew the rector really well, so the ceremony was personal to them. The bride entered with her dad to Handel’s ‘Arrival of the Queen of Sheba’. Amanda’s granddad gave a reading, and a chimney sweep, hired by the bride, surprised everyone after the service.
