The wedding took place at the historic Warwick Castle. Alexandra used to say as a little girl that she’d get married at Warwick Castle! The impressive venue was perfectly suited to their elegant winter wedding theme, with a classic black and ivory colour scheme.
To suit the time of year they chose a Christmas inspired wedding breakfast menu, including a prawn and avocado starter and a roast turkey dinner, followed by poached pear with caramel ice cream and a brandy snap.
The table plan was displayed in ornate silver frames outside the banqueting hall, and each of the tables were named after placed they visited in Venice when they got engaged. Flowers arranged by Pure Botanics added to the décor, with wintry roses and calla lilies wrapped around candelabras.
