Alexandra was chauffeured to the wedding by bridesmaid Danielle’s partner Dave, who added ribbon to his white Land Rover for the occasion. She arrived 20 minutes late, which caused some anxiety for Nick!
The bride walked down the aisle with her father to Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’. Bridesmaid Lucy-Anne read out a poem which Alexandra had written herself, and two close friends, Emma and Tracy, also gave readings.
Nick and Alexandra exchanged rings, and she chose to use a special ring she had been given on her 21st birthday by her parents. ‘My Girl’ played as the newlyweds signed the register, and as they exited the ceremony as husband and wife, James Brown’s ‘I Feel Good’ filled the room.
