Adele got ready at the wedding venue, so she didn’t need to worry about transport. However, the thoughtful bride arranged a delightful surprise for her husband-to-be. As James is really into cars, Adele called in a favour with a friend who is renovating a Triumph TR6. She even arranged for him to be insured so he could drive himself to the wedding. He loved every minute of it!
James and his party of groomsmen all hired their dark chocolate coloured wedding attire from Formally Yours.
Shortly after James arrived at the venue, Adele walked up the aisle and was given away by her father to the sounds of their local brass band playing ‘Shepherd’s Song’. Adele’s grandfather had been a keen musician, and as a tribute to him she arranged for the band to play a song he’d taught her to play when she was 12 years old as she signed the register. Her mother and grandmother were touched by this lovely gesture.
The couple then walked out to a brass rendition of ‘When I’m 64’, by the Beatles.
