Adele knew from the start that she didn’t want a traditional meringue style gown, and had been dreaming of a fitted lace gown with shoulder straps. She ended up buying the first dress she tried on, a stunning, slim-fitting, layered creation with gorgeous lace detailing. After trying on 10 dresses in four different shops, she knew she had to have the Alfred Angelo design she’d first tried on.
The bride wore her mum’s veil, after customising it, as her ‘something borrowed’ and ‘something old’. Adele also considered it to be lucky, as her parents have been married for almost 40 years!
The bride’s flawless makeup was done professionally, by Delicate Elegance, and her hair was loosely tied back in coils so it wouldn’t be ruined by the Pennine’s windy atmosphere! A vintage-style pearl tiara finished off the look beautifully.
