During wedding in Cuba I noticed a huge tree that had washed up during a hurricane. A must shot I thought, so later in the evening whilst sunset I asked the couple to sit on the tree incorporating the near by beach hut for effect. I used off camera flash to light the couple whilst including the available ambience.

My name is Dan Morris a 34 year old photographer, originally from Bridgend in South Wales and now living in Cheltenham. I started photography five years ago after chatting to a fellow tourist in Sydney harbour. It was just a hobby to start. I started to take things a little more seriously after moving to Cheltenham three years ago. My first wedding was as a guest at a friends ceremony and two women at that wedding asked if I could photograph their special day the following year. In that time I got hooked on learning the art of photography in preparation for the following year. I have always enjoyed meeting new people from all walks of life so this industry as been perfect for that. Things I enjoy outside of photography include rugby, keeping fit, scuba diving and travelling with and without my camera.
