Hi,

I am planing my wedding with my fiance and we have thought how nice it would be for his mother to marry us. How do we go about having her officiate the wedding. Does anyone have ideas and suggestions on this.?

In the uk you have to be married in the presence of someone who can register the marriage. What I think most people would do is pop along to the registry office with a couple of witnesses to do the legal bit and then have your wedding day with all your family and friends and you can have his mum officiating.

Sadly unlike the US you can’t get officiated online for the marriage to be legal here.

Good luck with planning your wedding
