    Non Traditional Groomswear

    Hello Hitchers,

Boyo likes the idea of grey / tweedy for his wedding day fashion (his words not mine!)

However he is struggling to find something that fits the bill, basically he doesn't want Black / tails / cravat combo,

has anyone had or having anything a bit 'different'?

I also tried to get him to look at brown but he isn't keen- he is worse than me- he knows what he wants in his head but can't find or describe it...Angry

So if anyone has ANY suggestions at all it will be gratefully appreciated- I have told him I don't care what he wears so long as he is happy and comfy!!

I can't quote on my phone, take a look at my link below to witness mrmini's brown cord suit with converse. No moss bros suits for my h.

Do you know where MrMinis suit was from?

(ps nice to see your report back cause it is ace!! Fluffy )

One of my Grooms wore tweed and it looked amazing. I'll have a search!

Groom in tweed. No point showing full length as he was also in a kilt

    Re: Non Traditional Groomswear

It's not tweed but I loved the suit this groom wore. So much so that I demanded OH track it down, buy and wear it for our own wedding Laugh

It's from Next I believe (although OH wont be wearing it, boo)

I think a "normal" suit is just as smart as the trad tails or morning suit

    Thanks!

It was from Paul Smith, so super spensive, except we got it int he outlet for £200. Shirt was £90 and tie about £30 so not *too* bad.

I was going to suggest a kilt but realise it isn't everyone's taste. I love the suit in the 5th picture Funky has posted, very smart but a bit different.

He likes these lots thanks Funkyone- any ideas on who might sell??

Thanks Mini- outlet is a good idea, we had a look at Austin Reed and they have an outlet not far from us! Anyone had stuff from there??

Thanks all for the inspiration! :)

    Re: Non Traditional Groomswear

Try doing a search for Steampunk suits... it's something a little different, but not so out there that you can't pass at a 'normal wedding'...
