Care to flash your bridesmaids dress

Random Name, 1 of April of 2011 at 19:20 Posted on Planning 0 72

Hi all

I have started to think about what style bridesmaid dress I want. Am thinking something like this from the Birmingham lady in red

Am still looking at other styles and need some inspiration. So anyone care to flash their BM's dresses?

Thanks

? Am so happy you've flashed yours before so I could see that they really are just like what she advertises on her website. Have she made anything from a picture for you?

Its from romatica of devon 2011 range- the colour ive ordered is in a raspberry organza material but the the actual shade is called burgundy and the satin is a much deeper colour than the organza version?

This is ours, its Alfred Angelo in Hunter Green, they are SO flattering on all of my bridesmaids of completely varying sizes and I'm so happy with them. We have added straps to make them feel more comfortable though, and they have a lace-up back which is beautiful.

I'm a Coast girl too, went through hell and high water to get mine (and then just to be awkward after all that they started restocking them again all over the show), makes me even more convinced this is the perfect dress for my bridesmaid and I love it:

Here is mine: I'm almost jealous I won't be wearing it.

The colours are reversed though with the darker Purple being the main colour.

    These are mine:

Not in this colour though. I picked them up on Friday and my 5 BMs all look gorgeous in them, and only a few minor alterations required. They will be shorter though, just above the knee

This style looks very flattering. What colour are you having them in?

Can you say where they are from if you don't mind posting?

They are really falttering, all of my BMs waists look tiny !!! (Although my SIL has had a size 2 ordered !!! so she is tiny anyway)

They are Dessy dresses, from their After 6 range, and cost £150 each, but I got one free as I bought 5 so worked out £118 each. All 5 of them are wearing a different colour, which is pink, orange, purple, blue and green, the official Dessy colours are Fuschia, Clementine, Shamrock, Sapphire and African Violet (ignore the brown waist band, this will be self coloured), and they all have all yellow flowers as this is our 6th colour:
