Pen to write on a mirror?

blueeyedgirl, 1 of March of 2011 at 14:25 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hey

With 6 months to go i've just started to think about the finishing touches and sourcing things. I would love for our table plan to be on a gorgeous shabby chic frame but the big ones are all so expensive. BUT I have a gorgeous mirror I could use.

Do you know what pen I could use on it? (That would come off afterwards) Thought it would look quite cool & different - see *flash* for effect!

    We're going to do this!

I'm just going to go into an art shop and see what they advise.

You can write on mirrors with 'Sharpie' pens. It comes off with alcohol wipes

Thanks, tinkerbelly. Do they make Italic sharpie pens, so you know?

They do one that is called a 'chisel tip' which might give the same effect. Looks quite chunky though...

You can get chalk pens, which is what pubs etc use to write on windows and mirrors. that might look nice (even though I have just compared it to a pub, so maybe I am not the best at selling my ideas! lol)

If you want it to wipe off use a dry wipe pen (the kind that are used for whiteboards)
