Keeping People Entertained With No Music

LuxuriousYellowFlowers73461, 3 of June of 2019 at 13:24 Posted on Planning 0 2

We've found the perfect venue, the only hitch is at it's at a smallish hotel so they do not allow music for the evening. I don't want the wedding to be boring after the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Of course, we will have drinks and were planning on inviting more people in the evening. Does anybody have any tips to keep people entertained?

Thanks in advance

No music at all? Or do they mean you can't have a live band but you can have a dj?

Surely it would be hard for them to attract weddings if they don't allow any music?

What about booking a magician to perform a stage set - or a hypnotist?

There are lots of ways to entertain without live music or a DJ.

I keep reading about Silent Discos - that could be an amazing alternative.

You could provide lots of normal sized or oversized board games such as Jenga. You could alsk do things such as the shoe game.

You could do typically outdoor games if the space is big enough such as tug of war or horsehoes or bowels.

I also like the idea of silent disco.
