Help! 2 witnesses needed for civil ceremony in London

LuckyLondonBride, 13 of June of 2018 at 20:06 Posted on Planning 0

Hi there! My other half and I have a civil ceremony booked on the morning of 19th July at Hackney Town Hall. We actually already had a Church Wedding with friends and family and weren't able to do the civil registration until now due to various circumstances. We see the civil ceremony as a pure formality and it would feel strange to ask friends or family to attend as witnesses. We both like the idea of having 2 "kind strangers" by our side to act as witnesses. Maybe you could support us? You will certainly stack up your karma points. Smiley smile

Looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best

You don't even need to arrange witnesses. You can ask people in the streets before the ceremony. It's possible for register office staff to be witnesses to.

I photographed a B&G only wedding. I was one of the witnesses and someone from the register office was the other.
