And now my cars broken [:(]

Can I have some "the coolant dripping out of the front of your car needing to be topped up every 10 miles" is nothing serious, and that I will get home tonight <sob>

    That's crappy numbnuts.

I drove back from Chesington to Sanderstead with a leaking water pump a few years ago and managed.

As you say, just keep topping it up as you go, and try to get your hands on one of those one gallon plastic bottles to fill up.

Thanks. A lovely man from a local garage (that everyone here seems to use) has just picked it up. He seems to think that even if it is a radiator they can fix it today.

P&P - I noticed something was wrong around Elstree way, the heaters all went cold and it "felt" wrong, but the temperature was only slightly higher than normal. In Harrow, someone pulled me over to tell me I was steaming from under the car, and it was another 10 minutes before I could locate a garage. I then stopped to top up every 10 ish miles.

I shouldnt be allowed to purchase anything big!

That's poo. I hope you make it OK. Do you have AA/RAC etc?

Need to mail you about last night (not sure if you went home, I saw your FB status) but just to give you a general update.

PS Alan is so busted - there were muddy footprints on the toilet seat!

I know - there's often paw prints in the sink too! Did go back home, but late and not 100% sober...looks good though. Sorry about the mess in my room, I had 30 mins of, none of my work clothes fit properly yesterday morning!

Do have AA, but only to a nearby garage, so couldve ended up anywhere!

What doesn't he? What time are you thinking of coming over? He's now decided he wants to do a pub crawl in the evening (I dont think he realises he's 30, not 18!)

I have to be at work for 7.30 so it will be PM. I have to be in Hitchinn for 3.30 but M will be at yours with the kids by then.

I could buy your M a shed load of jelly sweets LOL

If it's a small hole, they might be able to just flush some sort of sealant stuff round the system and it will fix it. My dad did this once for my car, that was about 6 years ago and it's been fine since so fingers crossed it's something that simple for yours. Cheap vibes coming your way, sometimes it seems like it never rains but it pours does it?
