Male Friend Roles

ivorylacekindagirl, 17 of July of 2018 at 16:21 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi all,

I'm not really a girls girl, but have decided to have my SIL and FSIL as bridesmaids as we get on very well.

But I have a couple of male friends that I have known since childhood that I would really like to have a part in the Wedding. My fiance has a lot of male friends and relatives, so ushers isn't really an option.

Does anybody have any suggestions for something a bit different that my friends could do?

    Have Bridesmen!

A friend of mine is having 2 of her best boys as bridesmen, and I've seen it at other weddings too. Chuck them in a suit with a tie to match your bridesmaid's dresses and BOOM! It looks fab, plus if you aren't having ushers, you can ask them to escort your 'maids down the aisle Smiley smile X

Could you maybe have your male friends as your witnesses? Or do reasons as others have suggested x

You can have male BM's these days! I photographed a wedding where the MOH was a bloke!

I've also photographed a wedding where the two "best men" were the groom's sisters.
