Thank you!! the weeks are just flying by now. My mum arrives over from SA 4 weeks today! Haven't see her for a year, so will be good to spend the week before with her. Thank god for the ipad and being able to share all the planning with her.

My BMs hair trial was almost exactly like the pic - it was lovely! And nice to tie in with the plaits in mine also.

Just over 2 weeks to go!! My mum arrives from a South Africa a week on Sunday. Make up trials on Saturday and 2nd hair trial on Monday. Getting excited now!

We get married on the same day!!!

EEEEEEK excited! I have my final dress fitting on saturday, and taking the cake topper to our cake lady, and a meeting at the venue to meet our 'host' and pay the remainder of our money!

Getting scarily close, really hoping it all comes together ok!

Everything is so pretty :-) I love the bridesmaid hair idea- I may have to pinch that! Also quite intrigued by your invitations- what on earth do you use the cider for.... or was that for drinking?

We aren't having a piper, thought about it, but decided not to bother.

We've had make up and final hair trials ...

I've made a last minute decision to put some colour through the top section of my hair, the contrast isn't so obvious in real life, but looks quite obvious in photos. So going to have some lighter flashes put through it.

And have decided that is my dress is just a tad too long, so I have bought some higher shoes...

My mum and step dad finally arrived from SA and I spent today getting my brows, lashes and toenails done,

Thank you. We're quite different in style, but the pleats just tie the two hair styles together a bit.

Finished the menus, place name cards and tablet favour boxes ...

Eek .... one more sleep!

Kilts have been collected, cupcakes are bring dropped off today, collecting my dress from where it has been stored and delivering it to venue, then we will set up the pavilion evening reception tables (jars, candles, ivy).

Then I'll get my bag packed and head off to stay with my mum for the night.

Make up appt at 10 tomorrow then off to the castle for hair and getting ready.
