I'm not really sure what you mean by mercury - I'm assuming not the toxic metal?

I had some silvered glass heart-shaped bowls that I picked up from a charity shop. That's not much help for you though.

Ebay have some hits, but I'd be very surprised if you could pick up vases and candlesticks for £2 a piece....

IKEA would be the only place I can think that you would get vases, candles holders and votives for around the £2 mark but not sure if they do 'mercury' colour?

Here are some of mine - I paid about £24 per pair of the short fat ones and £20 per pair of the tall ones. I cannot remember what I paid for the little set of votives but think it was again about £30 ish. I searched everywhere for them for less but didnt find any so nice so I just thought 'to heck withh it!' and got them!

If you're feeling crafty there's loads of tutorials for making your own versions of these with mirror spray paint or chrome car paint, you can get vintage looking clear glassware in every charity shop. Also I'd never heard this called mercury I'd only known it as silvered glass so might be worth searching ebay etc under both names.
