Summer Wedding Hair Styles from Sitting Pretty
Fran @ Hitched
The way you wear your hair on your wedding day will play a
huge part in your overall look and according
to a recent poll, 82.8% of hitched brides-to-be said that they would be
changing their hair style for the big day. Because there are so many
different styles to choose form, I got in touch with Chelsea Lenton, owner of
bridal hair and beauty service Sitting Pretty (www.sittingpretty.co), who shared with me her wedding
hair predictions for summer 2013 brides.
“I feel that this summer the 'in' trend will be the low side
part with loose finger-waved curls to the side, just swept over one shoulder” says
Chelsea. “A pinned up, curled bob looks great (Rita Ora style) and could be
finished with a lovely jewelled hair piece on one side.”
Consider wearing a vintage hair slide that belonged to a grandmother or shop around for something beautiful to match the style and embellishment of your gown.
For a festival style wedding, a pulled out fish tail plait could look pretty glam, or for something truly unique, Chelsea can create an exquisite bow with long hair to sit above a stunning veil.
A wedding hair trial will give you the opportunity to
experiment with as many styles as you like, making sure you feel comfortable with
your overall decision before the big day ahead.
Your hair stylist will be able to advise you on the best hair style to
match the neckline of your dress, and the do that will best highlight your
accessories and jewellery.
