Caroline Flack Announces Split From Fiancé Andrew Brady

by helen@hitched

Caroline Flack has confirmed that she has split from her fiancé Andrew Brady after a less than three month engagement.

The Love Island host announced that Andrew had proposed on Instagram at the end of April after a whirlwind three month romance.

However, on Tuesday, she released a statement revealing the engagement was over and joking that she would now be looking for love in the Villa.

She said: "I'm sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways.

"Unfortunately it was not to be. I wish him all the best.

"At least there's a Villa waiting for me. It's back to the ol' grafting."

Caroline, 38, met The Apprentice star Andrew, 27, at a party in February and, despite a brief break in March amid cheating claims, seemed inseparable.

Following news of the split, a source told The Sun, "Caroline is so sad about what has happened.

"She’s disappointed that Andrew has decided to make this public at this stage. She had hoped to deal with this privately.

"At this point she feels like he has used her so much, and that he’s full of lies."

Caroline is currently in Majorca filming the latest series of ITV2 show Love Island.

She is a firm household favourite for her presenting work but her love life hasn't always been plain sailing. In the past she has been linked to celebrities including Harry Styles and Prince Harry.

However, it seemed like she had found The One with Andrew and even gushed about him in a recent issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

Writing an open letter to him, she said, "People talk about meeting someone and feeling as though you’ve known them your whole life. That’s what it felt like when I met you.

"I'll never forget seeing you walk into the restaurant – tall, with a smile 10 miles wide, not just for me but for everyone in there. Talking to you was effortless.

"There were no first-date nerves – just two people laughing and getting to know each other until the early hours. It was how all first dates should be."
