Matt was our wedding photographer at Holmes Mill on 27th December 2024 and we can't rate him highly enough! Throughout the wedding planning he was professional, responsive and organised, which put us both at ease. Our pre wedding shoot was excellent and helped us to both feel more relaxed for the big day. On our wedding day Matt was fabulous- he made sure that we got all the group photos we wanted in an efficient way so that we could relax and enjoy our day with family and friends. He also took lots of candid photos which are beautiful. Our gallery is excellent and our guests commented on how professional, organised and lovely he was on the day. 10/10 would recommend

My husband and I got married at Colshaw Hall on 29.10.2024 and we booked SMH Photography to capture our special day. Before our wedding, my husband and I had a video call with Sandra and Steve to discuss the photographs we wanted and plan timings to enable all the guests to be ready for the group photos. They were also very quick to reply to any questions or queries we had and went out of their way to accommodate us. On the wedding day, both Sandra and Steve were so professional and warm to work with. Their skill as photographers enabled them to capture our special day perfectly and blend seamlessly into the background to catch those unique moments from our family, friends and children that we would have otherwise missed. From the moment we got in touch Andy was fantastic he came to our house the following evening and we talked about what we were looking for I wanted a mix of posed an candid shots and he absolutely delivered we had a couples shoot with him some months before so knew how good the photos would be but having seen our sneak peek they are above and beyond he has an excellent eye for details and was creative with some excellent ideas that have produced amazing photos when showing one to my boss she said it was the best wedding photo she had ever seen! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Joe did such a great job shooting our wedding….! It was like having another great friend attend. His work was stellar and nothing was too difficult. Gary and I highly recommend Joe. You’ll be lucky to have him! Thanks Joe !

My wife and I had Gareth photograph our wedding in September and we simply couldn’t be happier with having made that decision. From the off, communication with Gareth was fantastic and he was extremely helpful in helping us plan out exactly what we wanted. Come the day itself, he was punctual, effortlessly personable, and made us feel extremely comfortable. He took his time and captured every aspect of our day, including shots of our guests and venue, and he made sure to stay until we had every photo we wanted - he really made everything about us. The next morning, Gareth sent over 25 “sneak peak” pictures for us, and we were incredibly impressed at the speed he was able to get them to us. He also kept up communication over the next few weeks and let us know once our photos were ready and posted, and we were thrilled with his work when it arrived. Overall, we couldn’t recommend Gareth any more highly as he’s been a delight from start to finish, and we felt the service provided was extremely good value for money. We love his wonderful mix of candid and posed photos, and look forward to keeping up with his work going forward! x

Debbie captured our wedding day in July and we really couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our day. We first met Debbie on the day of our wedding and she really made us feel at ease. Debbie helped our wedding day run so smoothly from start to finish. Debbie was so enthusiastic in capturing our day and all our guests were saying how great she was. Tom photographed our wedding in August 2025, we selected the first dance package. From the start Tom was brilliant, communication was great and he made us aware of timings. He asked us for special photos we would want on the day, but we more or less trusted him with his vision! Even though he had never been to our venue before! Tom made us both feel very comfortable even though we are not photogenic people! The photos came out beautifully, and we would 100% recommend Tom! Thanks a lot for capturing our special day🩷
