From the moment we drove into the grounds and met Jo, we knew this venue was was where we were going to get married. From the initial meeting through to the day and after, Jo and the Leonardslee team helped us feel at ease, answered any questions (no matter how silly) we had and supported us throughout the whole journey. Our wedding day was easily the best day of our lives and choosing Leonardslee Wine Estate was a huge part of that.

We had such an amazing weekend — where do we start? We’re so glad that we chose Balcombe Place for our wedding. The house and grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for the celebrations, with lots of space for our guests. We were lucky to have a beautiful summer’s day, so we were able to have most of our celebrations outside — but the music room gave us a space with real character for dancing in the evening. Grace and the rest of the team at Balcombe were so warm and welcoming, but also incredibly organized and flexible, allowing us to create the weekend that we wanted. The planning process was stress free; Balcombe worked seamlessly with our suppliers and wedding planners. We loved having our close family stay without us through the weekend. The bedrooms are beautiful and spacious, and the meals that Balcombe provided were delicious. We’re still reliving our memories of the day, and we can’t imagine choosing a different place for our wedding — it was perfect.

Our wedding at Nymans earlier this month was a dream. Sophie the co ordinator is friendly and experienced and helped us to feel secure that the day would be well run. She even helped calm the parents down at the rehearsal! The day went perfectly and the sunken gardens were stunning. The Loggia is a beautiful place to say your vows and the grounds have made for the most gorgeous photos. Guests were in awe of the setting and driving and walking through the gardens felt like magic, Nymans is special to us anyway but the fact that we can go back there any time is truly wonderful.

Incredible venue with the most incredible team. Gemma provided the most amazing on the day co-ordination for us. My husband and I will be forever grateful!

We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married. The walled garden is absolutely stunning - a sun-drenched, perfectly kept setting that feels both timeless and unique. It has such a traditional charm, with every corner filled with colour and character, yet it still manages to feel relaxed and welcoming. What really made it special though was the team – their warmth and care gave the whole day a real family feel. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail made everything run effortlessly. It’s one of those rare venues that feels like it has a real soul. A perfect blend of beauty, tradition, and genuine hospitality. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We are so grateful to have had our wedding at Woodmancote Place, it is the most idyllic setting, a little piece of heaven, outrageous some might say, although you really can’t describe it with words. The grounds are impeccably kept. The perfect wedding venue. Hannah is fantastic, she met with us several times before the wedding, she instantly made us feel at ease and was prompt and professional in all correspondence. Hannah was incredibly helpful on the week leading up to, and the wedding day itself. She was in touch with all suppliers and ensured the day ran seamlessly, taking away any stress from us. Many of our guests have commented that it was ‘the best wedding venue ever!’. We all had the most wonderful day that will stay engraved in our memories for a very long time.

Melissa was incredibly helpful getting our wedding booked in and talking us through everything we needed to know to make our day perfect. The location is absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than we imagined. I can’t thank Melissa enough for all her help and going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed to plan our special day. Would 100% recommend!

A brilliant setting with the beautiful church in view. So much fun to have all the space in the world on the giant lawn and everyone had a fantastic time. The long established plants along the garden wall made a perfect backdrop for the family. photographs. The resident white doves flew over our reception.
