First of all, I can’t put into words how stunning the venue is. Beautiful scenic historical building, with original features. The staff were more than accommodating, welcoming and warm. Myself and my husband were treated amazingly. Becky really took the reins and provided us with the most amazing service and Megan couldn’t help us enough throughout the process. Big big thanks to all the staff at Owston, you made our dreams a reality 🩷

My husband and I got married at Tapton Hall and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for such a beautiful venue for their wedding! The architecture of the building is breathtaking, not to mention that the scenery and foliage surrounding it provides excellent areas for photographs and videos! The staff at Tapton Hall are exceptional! They are super friendly and they catered for all our wants and needs. We can't thank them enough for the jobs they did on our big day - a special mention to Becki who worked tirelessly to help make our day absolutely perfect! From the planning and prep straight up to our wedding day - She answered all questions we had, advised us and helped to calm all the nerves I felt on the day! Would definitely recommend!

The team at Wortley Hall have been brilliant for us. They were always on hand to answer questions even with last minute panics. They helped with the day flawlessly and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Guests have also commented upon how friendly and approachable the team are. A special thanks to Ellie and Carla who assisted me an my husband with our special day. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue.

Thank you so much for making our wedding day on August 16, 2025, an absolutely unforgettable experience. We especially want to give a massive shout-out to the incredible Angela, who is truly a diamond. She was always on hand to help, and her bubbly, approachable personality made the whole planning process so much smoother and more enjoyable. The day ran perfectly, and that’s a testament to the entire staff. Every single person we interacted with was brilliant and incredibly helpful. We’ve received countless compliments from our guests about the food, which was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone was so impressed with the quality and presentation. Everything we needed was taken care of, and we are so glad we chose Aston Hall for our special day. The beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, and impeccable service were all perfect. Thank you again for everything. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more wonderful team to help us start our married life together.

We would highly recommend Mosborough Hall as a Wedding venue. We had our big day there on 25.10.25. Mosborough staff helped bring our Autumn rustic theme to life with all our requests met with a "can do" attitude. Our guests feedback about both the venue and food was incredible with everyone having a wonderful time and lasting memories being made. We had the Yorkshire fairytale package which was excellent value for money as it includes three course wedding breakfast, evening buffet we opted for the outdoor pizza oven to add that Autumn smell and allowed us to make the most of the beautiful outdoor patio space and it's twinkle lights. Mosborough offers the opportunity to be the only wedding hosted on any given day which was important to us. As weddings are held in the former stable block you are separate from hotel guests offering privacy but with accommodation on site.

We got married here at the start of January. It’s such a beautiful hotel, downstairs was so spacious, our wedding guests had plenty of room to move around. We were so happy with how the decoration and everything turned out. Special mention to Jessica, wedding coordinator, who couldn’t do enough for us on the day (and even before). She made our day so special for us and it ran so smoothly. We are so grateful for everything she did for us. A big thank you to all the staff at Crowne Plaza. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. The chefs even made us some dessert platters to add on to our buffet last minute (we were supposed to have a chocolate fountain but it snowed so they couldn’t get to us). Thank you so much to everyone at Crowne Plaza!!

Our wedding at Hellaby Hall was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day. Our incredible wedding coordinator, Emma, was an absolute superstar — nothing was ever too much trouble, and no question was too silly. She guided us every step of the way with such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Emma went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and thanks to her, the whole day was completely stress-free. She truly is an asset to Hellaby Hall! The venue itself was stunning — beautifully decorated in partnership with Dragonfly, who brought our vision to life perfectly. The ceremony was seamless and so special, the wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the evening party was fantastic. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy, with lovely bar areas and beautiful grounds for photos. The spa and hotel facilities made the whole experience even more enjoyable for us and our guests. The bridal suite is perfect and the staff went above and beyond! Everything came together perfectly, and we can’t thank Emma and the Hellaby Hall team enough for making our day unforgettable. We’d recommend this venue in a heartbeat — truly a dream wedding!

We are both in our 80s and wanted a wedding with just close family members as guests. The ceremony had to take place in one of the large funeral rooms but later we had a meal of our choice in one of the small executive boxes overlooking the pitch. In between we were allowed to go pitch side for photographs. We received excellent assistance from the Sheffield Wednesday Events Staff.

The packages at the hotel are extremely good value for money. We wanted a budget-friendly wedding without scrimping. We certainly received the most impeccable service, amazing food for such good value. Let's start at the beginning, Clementine was amazing from the initially booking, nothing was too much trouble for her, her attentiveness towards what we wanted for our big day was second to none, she tweaked the menu slightly to achieve what we wanted, our personal drinks for the day were catered to our tastes as the bride and groom. The package included food tasting which was amazing we had a little date day and it also included a free drink. It also put our mind to rest about the food which our guests would be receiving. The food!!! All our guests talked about was our singer, and the food! The hotel provided the most delicious canopies, three course meal and evening buffet. The menu is extensive for you to select from and the food was plentiful and gorgeous. I stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding in a lovely spacious suite for us all to get ready in, I had 3 bridesmaids, my mum a friend and the makeup artist and hairdresser and there was loads of room for us all to get ready. The day ran without any problems at all, and obviously I cannot leave a review without mentioning Bob! He's a Legend, making sure we were where we needed to be, and where the guests needed to be, checking in on us and providing us with entertainment and memories that will last us a lifetime. The day went so fast and I can honestly say without hesitation if I can to do it all over again, I would still choose the Holiday Inn Rotherham

It was a very beautiful venue and so happy we got the chance to get married there! The only thing is that for the reception hall we used, we were that the extra chairs and tables that were stacked at the back in the corner would be moved on the day of our wedding but the day before, we were told that they could not move them and they would be there for the whole reception. Wish that would have been much clearer when we first visited the venue. The food was good but some parts were dry. Not sure if it’s because it started a little later than planned so the food was cooked earlier than when we did initially eat.
