We had our wedding at Bickley Mill on 15/11/2025 and it was the most incredible day! The staff have been amazing throughout the wedding planning process, answering any questions we’ve had so promptly. The day ran so smoothly thanks to the lovely staff and we had such an amazing day. The venue itself was perfect! Even though it was winter we were still able to make use of the lovely decking area which looked gorgeous at night with the string lights on. The food was lovely and lots of guests complimented it. We also were able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning which was so nice, being able to all be together and reminisce on the night before. I couldn’t recommend Bickley Mill enough!

Where to begin… From the moment we first stumbled across Tunnels Beaches online, it completely stopped us in our tracks — and seeing it in person only confirmed what we already felt: this was the place we had to get married. The setting is unlike anywhere else we’ve ever seen… wild, private, unspoiled, and somehow both dramatic and peaceful at the same time. But what truly sets Tunnels apart is everything behind the view. The team is exceptional — warm, responsive, organised and genuinely invested in making the whole experience feel effortless. Jamie answered every question and query quickly and every detail handled with such care. Because we aren’t local to the area, we relied heavily on the venue’s recommended suppliers list for things like photography and hair and makeup — and I’m so glad we did. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. I genuinely feel like we ended up with the absolute best of the best, and having that guidance removed so much stress. It was invaluable. By the time the wedding day arrived — blessed with the most beautiful late-September sunshine — Everything unfolded so smoothly, with an unhurried and natural flow. We didn’t need to think or manage a thing. The team quietly took care of every detail in the background so we could just enjoy every moment. They even accommodated a last-minute request for us to slip away for a cocktail on the sun terrace while our guests were being seated for dinner, which ended up being one of our favourite little memories of the day. Tunnels Beaches is such a unique place, but it’s the people who elevate it from a beautiful venue to an exceptional experience. We’re so grateful for the care, professionalism, and warmth we were shown from start to finish. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, and we truly can’t imagine having celebrated it anywhere else.

We got married at The Bedford Hotel in October 25. From the first day we went for a viewing all the staff were so friendly. Hannah and Kay helped us every step of the way through the planning process and the day went seamlessly. As big food lovers, the wedding breakfast was incredible and we just had such a fantastic day all round.

Our day was magical ✨️, including the weather 👌 Lou and the team went above and beyond to meet all our needs. All questions/queries were answered swiftly and everyone pulled together to help with last minute preparations on the morning. The day went to plan and lou was available for any reassurance needed...... plus, to add a special surprise to our ceremony room 😍 Mahoosive thank you 😊 Would definitely recommend having your special day at The Cedars.

We chose to have our wedding reception at the Duke of Cornwall in Plymouth February last year. The service we received was fantastic! The food was amazing and they made everyone feel so welcome right from the word go. We were very impressed for what we got for the money and had a fabulous day enjoyed by all. Our thanks to the Duke of Cornwall for making our dream day come true!! xx

Seriously, we have been to loads of weddings over the years and we both agree that the wedding breakfast was singularly the best ever. Food was timely, hot, served without fuss and everyone got what they had picked. Customer service was faultless - just the right mix of care and attentiveness, but entirely unobtrusive. Also, the waiting staff were so good at their jobs that they brought a sense of calm efficiency. Nothing was too much trouble. The eating experience was faultless. Ample portions, of absolutely perfectly cooked food. The venue was spotlessly clean and warm. The loos were immaculate. CEO at Holne Park House, you have a great business there, well done for all you do and in every sense, your staff did you proud, so please do pass that on to them. They earn every penny you pay them! Thank you for making this a really wonderful experience for us all.

We loved getting married at Huntsham Court. The best parts for us were that it was dog friendly so our dog could be our ring bearer, we were allowed to bring our own alcohol with no corkage fee so we could have the drinks we wanted, flexibility to choose our own suppliers and accommodation on site so our family and friends could enjoy a whole weekend celebrating with us. Hunstsham has so many beautiful guest rooms and so many options of where you can have your ceremony, from a tipi, to a dovecote, the top lawn, the great hall, the yellow room, the options are endless. What's also great is that the ceremony, wedding breakfast, drinks reception and evening reception can all be in different locations. If you're looking for a unique venue for an English Countryside wedding then this is it!

Our day was beautiful and we couldn't have hoped for more, even the rain managed to hold off until after the photos. Shirna and all of her staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they all helped make our day as perfect as it could have been. The service and the food was superb, with a beautiful view from the restaurant and cosy communial rooms to relax in. It really is a beautiful hotel, in beautiful surroundings with lovely rooms and great staff. Thank you all.
