We had our wedding at Broadoaks Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They truly couldn’t have done enough for us! A HUGE shout-out to Taz, Sian, Mikey and Lewis — you made our day so personal, so seamless, and so completely perfect. Every detail was handled with such care and genuine warmth. The food was incredible, the décor was stunning, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. It was the most amazing wedding and truly the best day of our lives. Thank you, Broadoaks, for giving us a day we will cherish forever. 💛

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we can’t thank the team enough! The venue was simply stunning – even in the rain it looked magical, and it was dressed so beautifully. Lauren and Laura truly thought of everything; their attention to detail and support throughout the day were exceptional. From signature cocktails to confetti cannons. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They made our day truly incredible, right down to the smallest details, and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was genuinely the best day of our lives, and we’re already looking forward to coming back to stay in the beautiful suites again soon. Thank you for making our wedding everything we dreamed of and more!

We had the most incredible experience at the Netherwood Hotel for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — all of our guests commented on how gorgeous and beautifully kept it was, with a touch of classic elegance that made the whole day feel extra special. It’s undeniably posh, but the atmosphere throughout was always warm, friendly, and down-to-earth — the perfect blend. What truly sets the Netherwood apart, though, is the staff and their dedication. They genuinely went above and beyond for us. When we couldn’t find a caterer for our Peruvian fiesta the night before the wedding, the hotel stepped in without hesitation. Although their chef was English and had never even been to Peru, the Peruvian feast they created for us was nothing short of spectacular. We hadn’t expected much — but we were blown away. Even our Peruvian guests were amazed by how authentic and delicious it all was. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant the world to us. Nothing was too much trouble for the Netherwood team. Everything ran so smoothly and with such grace that we were able to relax and just enjoy the whole experience. Our wedding planner was a total star — she made what can often be a stressful process feel effortless and genuinely fun. We’ll be coming back for years to come, as the Netherwood now holds such a special place in our hearts. We couldn’t recommend it more highly — it was perfect in every way.

We had our wedding at Storrs Hall on 26th March 2024, from the get go the team were so amazing, going out of there way and doing little things to make us excited for our big day, we even received a Christmas card the year before from the team! When we arrived we were able to get in to our room right away and they were so happy to have us, talking to us about the details of the day and getting everything organised. We had a meal with our guests the night before at the Bistro and the food was incredible! Service amazing and everything just hit the whole event off with so much positivity! The day of the wedding everyone was so organised and it really was like they were hosting a family members wedding, after the wedding and we returned to our room we even had a card and small gift from the staff as a congratulations. We can’t wait to return to Storrs Hall for anniversary’s just to be a part of that little family again ❤️

We are so pleased we decided to have our wedding at Low Wood. The venue and location are beautiful and all of the staff are helpful and attentive. The standard of service is high and the food and drinks were wonderful. The weddings team are very experienced and knowledgeable, helping us every step of the way. We could not want for more, thank you.

Quite simply our wedding day at Linthwaite was perfect! We and all of our guests had the most amazing weekend which went without a hitch and that is completely down to the professionalism and hard work of the entire Linthwaite team. Every one of our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel is and what great service they received. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to ensure that every one of the guests had a comfortable stay. We chose Linthwaite as our wedding venue having visited a number of hotels in the Lakes and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Down to the smallest details, everything throughout the whole weekend was spot on. From the day we booked we had just 12 weeks to plan the big weekend and Sarah was fantastic during this entire process. She put in so much hard work to ensure that every detail was covered which was, without a doubt, one of the main reasons that the weekend felt so effortless for us. The venue, staff, food, service and of course the views made Linthwaite and our wedding such a special memorable day. We only wish we could do it all over again!

We recently got married here and Kayleigh and the staff were so lovely , scenery was stunning for pictures and set up ran super smooth. Food was delicious but drinks were a little pricey We would recommend this beautiful venue for your Wedidng , rooms were clean and beautiful, small updates needed in some but still recommended

We had the most amazing day at the Grange hotel for our wedding, better than we could of ever imagined. Everything was perfect. Katie the wedding planner was absolutely amazing from start to finish, nothing was to much trouble, she made everything effortless, and did an amazing job. All the staff were very kind and accomoding The food was delicious, the rooms are beautiful the grounds of the hotel just perfect. We couldn't of wished for anything more. Over the weekend of Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, my daughter got married at the Castle Green. From arriving on Friday afternoon, until we left on Sunday afternoon, the staff were exceptional. On initial arrival the staff at reception were extremely helpful in getting us booked in, as was Hannah the wedding planner. Throughout the weekend Hannah was on hand, and always responded promptly to any requests and made things happen, with nothing being too much trouble for her. On the Friday night 22 of us ate in Alexanders, and as we found in the main hotel, the staff in Alexanders were great. They really looked after us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. On the Saturday Christine was really helpful in ensuring the ceremony and wedding reception ran without issue, and like Hannah, was really helpful and very professional. The staff waiting on at the wedding reception were very attentive, and the meal was excellent. We had a number of family members and friends who stayed overnight, many who had not visited the Castle Green before, and all commented on how much they had enjoyed the wedding and their overnight stay. A big part of that was due to the staff. Right from the outset as I have commented on above, the reception staff were very helpful, and that flowed through to those serving breakfast or behind the bar, at the wedding reception, and the cleaning staff etc. We had a fantastic weekend, and all the team at The Castle Green contributed towards that.

Thoroughly enjoyed our wedding at Dalston Hall and how easy staff made the day for us. Cannot recommend the venue enough. A big thank you goes to Yasmin who was our fantastic wedding coordinator. Who was on hand every step of the way.
