We had our wedding at Broadoaks Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They truly couldn’t have done enough for us! A HUGE shout-out to Taz, Sian, Mikey and Lewis — you made our day so personal, so seamless, and so completely perfect. Every detail was handled with such care and genuine warmth. The food was incredible, the décor was stunning, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. It was the most amazing wedding and truly the best day of our lives. Thank you, Broadoaks, for giving us a day we will cherish forever. 💛

Quite simply our wedding day at Linthwaite was perfect! We and all of our guests had the most amazing weekend which went without a hitch and that is completely down to the professionalism and hard work of the entire Linthwaite team. Every one of our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel is and what great service they received. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to ensure that every one of the guests had a comfortable stay. We chose Linthwaite as our wedding venue having visited a number of hotels in the Lakes and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Down to the smallest details, everything throughout the whole weekend was spot on. From the day we booked we had just 12 weeks to plan the big weekend and Sarah was fantastic during this entire process. She put in so much hard work to ensure that every detail was covered which was, without a doubt, one of the main reasons that the weekend felt so effortless for us. The venue, staff, food, service and of course the views made Linthwaite and our wedding such a special memorable day. We only wish we could do it all over again!

When we first got shown around the Lancrigg by Simon we knew the venue was special. The setting at the foot of helm crag is phenomenal and we knew that even in the worst weather the venue and surrounding fells would still look incredible. Simon and Alison were on hand from day 1 of booking right up to the big day itself to answer questions and provide advice. The Venue itself is incredible, the rooms are all lovely, the barn is beautiful as well as the common areas of the main house. We used the lounge for the bridal party to get ready in and the lighting was perfect. The bridal suite- silverhowe, was also a stunning room with a lovely window overlooking the grasmere fells. The Lancrigg gave us a perfect amount of independence to choose our suppliers, theme, venue dressing/decorations etc whilst still getting the support of an amazing team of staff as well as their own catering in the evening as well. We styled the barn with an autumnal theme which looked lovely. On the day the staff ensured that things were running smoothly and were always on hand to support us with anything we needed. I think the real testament to the Lancrigg is the feedback we got from our guests afterwards. Nearly everyone commented on how friendly and helpful the staff at the Lancrigg were. Everyone loved the mountain views and a lot of compliments were made about the pizza in the evening! We loved being able to have our friends and family all staying on site in the beautiful rooms at the Lancrigg or at the handy airBnB next door which allowed us to accommodate all of our day guests. It made the whole weekend feel like a celebration!

I don't even know where to start. We live in the Lake District with so many nice hotels but Roundthorn really stood out to us. The flexibility of building your own package, the venue itself, the views and the people are just incredible. We had our perfect day at the end of November and the venue lit up with lights is breathtaking. Anouska and the rest of the Roundthorn team are exceptional and I don't think we could have been looked after better or we could have asked for anything more. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone commented on how amazing the food was and how spacious their rooms were 100/10.

We got married at Casterton Grange Estate this June and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation we had. Holly and Anneka were incredible, professional, kind, endlessly supportive and a joy to work with. Holly, went above and beyond for us throughout the entire weekend, every idea I brought to them was met with enthusiasm and flexibility and they often had even better suggestions that elevated the entire experience! We had our legal ceremony on the Friday with just two witnesses before our guests joined for the weekend and then on the Saturday we had our celebrant lead wedding. One of the best decisions we made was taking Anneka’s recommendation of Kerrie from Birds & The Bees as our celebrant, she was absolutely incredible and we will never forget the impact she had on our wedding. The ceremony was so personal, intimate, and truly everything we could have hoped for and more. Seriously… lean into their suggestions, they know what they’re doing! We rented the Grange alongside the three cottages, allowing our family and friends to stay together in one place, a rare and incredibly special feature we couldn’t find anywhere else when venue hunting in the North. The estate is maintained to the highest standard, from the luxurious bed linen (some guests said it was the comfiest bedding they’ve ever slept on!) to the pristine grounds and peaceful atmosphere. It’s clear that a huge amount of thought and effort goes on behind the scenes to create such a beautiful sense of quiet luxury, we are so grateful for everything. The recommended local suppliers from Anneka were absolutely spot-on, our vendors were incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue. Casterton Grange feels wonderfully secluded, with breathtaking views and a warmth that made the whole weekend unforgettable and we will definitely be back. There are endless photo opportunities across the estate, from the elegant bridal suite that was perfect for getting ready with my girls, to the smoky snooker room for the boys and the dramatic staircase that made every shot feel grand. Regardless of the weather, the house is so beautiful in itself that it creates the perfect backdrop throughout. Whether you're planning your dream wedding or just a special getaway, Casterton Grange is a must. We only wish we could do it all over again!

I fell in love with the fleece when I first walked in. It gave cosy but modern vibes and I couldn’t fault it. There is a wedding coordinator who has regular meeting to ensure your day is perfect. Very good value for money.

Rydal Mount was a stunning place to get married. Being able to get ready in Wordsworth's bedroom was very special. And the garden is large and so we were able to have the ceremony pin one area - the drinks in another and the dinner and dancing in another. It allowed the day to be broken up in enjoyable different parts. Also the views across the Lake District and the garden itself is stunning.

Annabel and her team from the very start were incredible. We could not have wished for any better support with our wedding. She was professional, fun, incredibly knowledgable and just got in with it which took so much of the stress out of the day and left us able to fully be present which was such a gift. Thank you.

We chose to host our intimate wedding here and from the moment we approached them we knew we had made the right decision. They cannot do enough for you. They are undoubtedly committed to making everything wonderful for you and your guests. We enjoyed a happy and relaxed wedding and of equal importance to us, our guests had a great time, we were all looked after beautifully in lovely accommodation, served creative and delicious food and all with perfect friendliness and service. Every detail of our wedding went perfectly. They were incredibly attentive and managed the needs of the band for our afternoon tea and the evening entertainment. It was a truly bespoke experience that will forever be etched in our memories. Our wedding felt magical and to top it all, they managed a beautiful rainbow over the hotel! We feel blessed in every good way.
