A British Citizen who wishes to get married at Vietnamese Justice Department requires a “Certificate of No Impediment”. You can either obtain this in the UK from your local Registry Office or apply for one at the Embassy in Hanoi or the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. If you are residing in a 3rd country, you can apply to the British Diplomatic Mission in that country.
